Discussions held between Ulwazi Control Systems (UCS) and SA Power, the Lenze Drive suppliers/specialists for South Africa have identified that there is currently a gap in the knowledge base of maintenance staff from various industries on Lenze Drive software and operation.
This provides an opportunity for Ulwazi Control Systems (UCS) to step in and use their skill and understanding of these systems to provide some training for those who are constantly in the field and who need to be able to respond timely and efficiently to breakdowns involving machinery controlled by Lenze VSD’s.
UCS has a fully equipped Lenze test rig with various Lenze VSD’s already connected, and the necessary facilities to host such a training. This idea would be ideal for both UCS and Lenze, as it provides training opportunities for UCS, future work from new customers, and eases the burden of SA Power from having to travel long distances to provide training.
